Dark and slightly rich with some fruitiness. Some roasted malt and dryness in the finish.

Nov 27, 2008 From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Smooth roasted malt aroma with a light breadish touch. Breadish flavouredwita nice roasted note to it. Light acidic flavour a long a nice roasted dryness. Slowly going into a bitter dry finish. Light fruity on the back of the nose.

Jan 25, 2008 Bottle, labelled Buzzard Dark Ale. Brown colour under a thin tan head. Fruity and roasted malts aroma and some strange hints of tea. Sweet,fruity flavours with quite a bit of bitterness, leaving a dry mouthfeel. Interesting and quite original, but not really a favourite.

Jan 9, 2008 Cask £ Willow Walk, JDW, Victoria. Pours a dark amber color with a creamy off-white head. Roasted malty aroma with some chocolate hints. Smooth roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee. Has a roasted malty finish.

Oct 14, 2007 Bottle from ASDA for £1. Aroma of dark fruit with a hit of roasted malt. Flavour had some chocolate and more fruit before a slightly bitter finish. Good.
