harrisoni (6770), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 18, 2009 33cl bottle thanks to MagicDave6, cheers Tom. Clean pale gold with off white head. Decent lager. Light clean aroma, touch of butter on the pale malts and some ok hops on finsh. Drinkable enough stuff. Decent British brewed lager. Magicdave6 (5425), London, Greater London, England Oct 5, 2009 Bottle thanks to the bosses, had at home. Alround rating: Pale lightly buttery malt, but its clean, herbal and peppery hop, theres a slightly annoying floral sweetness, but finishes dry and fairly drinkable. PJClarke (619), London, Greater London, England Aug 24, 2009 Bottle:
The clearest beveage known to man? Crisp tawny orange with loads of bubbles and a wee head. Crisp little cereal aromas with a tiny, tiny hint of hoppage. Some super sweetness and hints of floral honey there too. Ooh, a bit malt sweet for me. Soft though and the carbonation does give it a good tingle. All a bit sweet definitely, but an excellent British lager. downender (2563), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Aug 23, 2009 From a keg at the Priory, Tetbury, Gloucestershire 23/08/09. Pale gold with slight carbonation. Sweetish malts, some citrus and a mineral edge, leading to a dryish finish. A pretty good lager. Golden color, no head, some carbonation, with some fruity and musty notes, . It could alost be a Koelsch if an ale, Very fresh tasting alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 28, 2008 Pours a marvelous light copper w/ a white htead. Aroma is crisp, spicy. Flavor is a spicy flavor with an excellent malt backbone. Very crisp and clean, with a mineral, salty taste. I love the finish - very clean and leaves a metallic dry mouthfeel. Overall it’s an excellent example of a really interesting, delicious lager. Can’t thank Doppelganger enough for sending this one my way. SilkTork (4167), Rochester, Kent, England Feb 10, 2008 Keg at The Jam Factory, Oxford. A decent standard lager. Clean, crisp with good citric notes.
