Mid orange-brown, tiny loose head. Aroma like a childrens fizzy sweet. Anna mentioned melted ice cream. However, it’s a bit bland. A bit sweet, the malts are very simple, a little grainy, some husks. A bit watery too, and heading towards thin. Sessionable, but there are better ales out there. bobinlondon (220), Harrow, Greater London, England May 22, 2008 Hand pulled at JDW Hatch End, Harrow. Medium brown, clear with lacey white head. Very well balanced with a subtle hop characture that leaves more aftertaste than you might expect. Good enjoyable session bitter. I would drink it again. wyzzywyz22 (327), Wirral, Merseyside, England Mar 28, 2008 Cask, Catherine Wheel, Marshfield. Amber colour, dry and malty with some fruit. Easy drinking and in offensive. dj (370), Gloucestershire, England Oct 13, 2007 Cask gravity at a pub in Cheltenham, 25/10/2007. An amber colour with a small head. A wonderful floral aroma. Floral hops, light citrus, fruit notes and a slight hint of malt. Hints of elderflower. A great summer brew. downender (1532), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jun 25, 2007 Updated: Oct 21, 2007Cask-conditioned at the Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell, Gloucs 24/6/07. Amber coloured with a slight white head. Aroma of green apples and earthy malt. More fruit flavours and a very dry finish. Not bad.
