Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold, slightly hazy. Aroma was faint at first but a citric hoppiness developed. Spicy taste with sweetness and sourness deliciously mingled. Mid bitter finish. Interesting and different.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Market Porter.
Golden brown with a thin white film. Nice fruity grassy hops with a pleasing creamy feel, delicate sweetness and a decent bitter finish.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 28 Nov 2007) Amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with notes of orange, apricots and a hint of honey sweetness. Fruity taste with good malt foundation, apricots and orange. Balanced sweetness throughout. Decent beer, but fairly anonymous.
