Jan 13, 2009 Cask conditioned at the Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon, 12-01-09. Pours mid amber in colour with a white head. Reasonable fruitiness and bitterness come through in this bitter, bit earthy at times, maltiness showing throughout, its good but not as good as the Silverstone Pitstop which I’d had beforehand. Mar 31, 2007 Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Brown amber with white head. The beer of choice last night, sweetish fruity malt with a touch of malt loaf in the body, reasonably bitter on the finish, some light hop. Easy drinking dark bitter.

Mar 27, 2007 Cask at the Market Porter in Southwark. Something of a dark sugary fruit aroma. Dark amber color with an enduring beige head. Starts slightly sweet malt, with floral hop. The finish is lightly bitter, then some malt creeps back along with floral aspects. Dry on balance.
