Dark oak colour with a ruby tinge. Malty aroma, slightly underdeveloped. Dry malty flavour with some toffee and caramel notes. Nothing exceptional, but not bad. Cask (handpump), Market Porter, London SE1.

A mild, semi-spiced beer for the holidays. Can't remember where I drank this in the UK, so it's a good thing I took decent notes at the time. Dark and ruby reddish, this had tons o' malt. Distinctive.

The colour of red wine, this is a smooth malty beer with hints of winter fruits. Easy going.
