A Mes rate. Cask at the Bree Louise. Mid amber colour with a thin off white head. Excellent condition but it is still failing to impress. Sweet fruity malt, loads of bread and a definite wheaty note in the finish leaving a biscuit hint in the aftertaste. Pretty standard stuff and far from exciting.

Cask at The Market Porter, Borough, 17/12/07. Amber in colour. Aroma is fruity. Decent balance of malt and hops and the right mouthfeel for the strength. Decent beer but no more.

Cask Handpump at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool 05/12/2002 Amber golden coloured fruity and slightly pale. Some bitterness in a lasting hop finish.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Head Of Steam Euston. A mid brown coloured beer which has a bit of a malty aroma. The taste is quite bland with hints of malt and hints of caramel, but nothing to get excited about.

Cask. Certainly not as good as i remember. Grainy, with some sweet caramel, typical boring Cottage beer really.
