Cask. At The Old Fountain. Slightly hazy copper pour with an average mottled beige head. Dry, lightly floral aroma balanced against light roast caramel sweetness - a hint of toffee. Taste follows, only sweeter - more toffee, even less floral balancing bitterness, slightly burnt with no alcohol - as it warmed I picked up hints of treacle and anise. Slick, mouthfeel, a touch thin, quite malty, what bitterness there is fades very fast. Tasty enough.
