Draft at Fox & Hound, Wilmington, NC... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Mostly clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Citrusy, wheat aroma. Well-balanced, crisp, citrusy flavor. Lively carbonation. Finishes tangy and dry.

Poured from a bottle. Slightly hazy orange color but not as cloudy as you’d expect for a wheat beer. No real head. Surprisingly malty and apple-like aroma without much citrus. The more I drink this the more I realize that I wouldn’t be able to identify it as a wheat beer if the bottle didn’t say so. This one fails.

Bottle. Aroma is mild and citrusy. The flavor is clean and easy to gulp down. Simple, clean and efficient. A decent American wheat without an bells and wistles.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color with thin white head. No lace. Bready, malt aroma reminiscent of corn flakes. There is also a hint of yeast. Thin bodied with a caramel malt flavor and crisp finish. Moderately carbonated.

Bottle. Aroma seemed very citrusy, and almost a bit floral on first sniff. Body is on the thinner side, but not too watery. Little bit of bread/yeast flavor, but what really hit me was the citrus/fruit flavor. Maybe orange and strawberry. Very tasty and refreshing. I’ll defiantly be getting this again.

This beer tastes to me very thick i didnt think that it was very thin as others. It has a very sweet taste to it almost syrupy even. I know this brewerys beers keeps getting high remarks but i just cant seem to jump on the bandwagon despite my efforts.

Found this today at Lowe’s Foods in Cary. Slighly hazy gold pour with medium white head. Hopcit and wheat in the aroma, with a smooth, medium palated finish. A nice wheat beer.

Draught @ the brewery: This one pours a slightly cloudy, golden color. There was basically no head to it at all. And what was there died out immediately. There wasn’t much of an aroma to it either. The aroma was thin, with some hints of wheat and spices trying to be noticed. The taste is definitely light, with just some wheat, citrus and spice. This was somewhat thin, but still a bit refreshing.
