| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger lasting off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of floral, citrus, and pine hops with a sweet malt backbone and a hint of caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium slightly resiny mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Very good. BrewmeisterEd (59), USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Smells kinda old coming out of the bottle - like wine left out overnight. I think what is offputting to me is the mineral content of the brew?? It tastes like the same type of water as a certain English Ale whose name escapes me at the moment, but while that was ok based on the type of brew, it feels out of place here - wish I knew how to express with more precision...just a tad skunky in my opinion. Not to the point of refusing one, but not much for buying one... turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2008 The aroma was hoppy but more yeasty than anything else (on the first pint, second pint did not seem yeasty). The aroma was earthy and woodsy with some caramel and citrus characteristics. The beer arrived clear amber golden with a low wispy white head which lasted enough to lace the glass. The flavor was nicely bittered with some caramel and a toasty aspect. The bittering was moderate and the hop flavor had a light bit of earthiness coupled to some light grapefruit citrus notes. The balance was just toward bitter. The finish was dry with bittering lasting into the aftertaste. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation. An ok IPA, but a shadow of what this beer was at one time. Pint @ Woods on South. bochi23 (90), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 7, 2008 The beer poured a dark, rich amber out of the bottle. The head is off white and about 1/2 thick with a fairly aggressive pour. The lacing is thin but gripping. floral aroma. This beer has a nice hop with a lasting bitter aftertaste (which I enjoy). This is a good beer, not great. I would buy it again. Hoss (602), Florida, USA

Crisp and clean aroma, with a nice hoppy taste. Fairly well-balanced and certainly drinkable. Consistent mellow hopitude throughout. Good, but certainly not exceptional.
