| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Bottle--Nice dark amber to light copper color with a large, white head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass. The aroma was very flowery, much more than what you would find from other IPAs. The taste was of subdued hops with a medium bitter finish. Ingles 5.97 Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Smells of citrus, some pine, caramel, maple. Tastes peppery with a decent piney note initially. Some nice citrus emerges as the beer warms. Hints of caramel and dry malt also present. Finish yields some bitterness. Subdued but pleasant. performula (147), Triangle Area, North Carolina, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 25, 2007 Draught at Bean and Barrel. Pours a deep amber with a medium creamy offwhite head. Laces. The aroma is very hoppy, waxy smell, grapefruit peel, pine. Very waxy bitter taste, very offensive mouthfeel, not a huge fan of just straight up bitter. theisti (1684), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Suttree. H0207 on neck. Pour is mostly orange with some slight haze, carbonation bubbles and a nice 1 inch off white head. Aroma of flowery hops and some malt. Body is a bit thin, hop presence light to start (citrus and pine for what is there) malt in the middle, and a decent hop bitter finish. Perhaps this had some age, but the hops were a bit too muted for an IPA. Decent ale, however. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 24, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloud, burnt orange. Small, off white head with a minimal amount of lacing. Aroma of peaches with a bit of piney hops. Mouthfeel is very hollow. Tiny bit of hops, but mainly bready, roasty malt. Nothing out of the ordinary with this one.
