Caramel and oak on the nose, but a little like wet dog as well. Cloudy amber color with a lasting thin yellow head, fairly uniform glass coating. Light woody flavor. Excellent hop finish.

12 oz Bottle from Chip’s in the OBX. Pours amber with little head. Great aroma of piney and citrus hops. I thought for sure based of the aroma I was in for a good IPA. It left me hanging. No real hop bite, or body. I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t buy again.

Draft at Brixx. This one followed up the High Roller IPA, and the difference for me was night and day. This hits the nail on the head for what I like out of this style. Nice burnt grains aroma, golden/copper color with a thick white head. Not an overly complex IPA, but a good balance of Cascade hops, sour fruits, and malts. Smooth finish, a little overly bubbly mouthfeel and a touch astringent in the aftertaste, but overall, a winner for a basic IPA.

12 oz. bottle from my Secret Santa - Pours a clear deep amber color with a one finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is toasted malt and light hops. Flavor is also toasted malt with a good bit of hop bitterness. Medium body. A pleasant drinking IPA. Thanks Santa.

12 oz bottle...pours a clear amber color with a medium rocky off white head....smells of malts and wet cardboard...head quickly disapeared...tastes like it smells, cardboard....not at all pleased with this one, having a hard time finding a reason to finish it, other than it’s still beer....maybe I got a bad bottle but this may be the worst IPA I’ve ever had
