Aug 6, 2007 12 oz bottle...pours a clear amber color with a medium rocky off white head....smells of malts and wet cardboard...head quickly disapeared...tastes like it smells, cardboard....not at all pleased with this one, having a hard time finding a reason to finish it, other than it’s still beer....maybe I got a bad bottle but this may be the worst IPA I’ve ever had

Aug 6, 2007 Picked up a six pack at Loews Foods in Shalotte, North Carolina. Nice IPA. Good amount of hops. Quite dry. Grassy with some nice malt. Finishes quite dry.

Aug 2, 2007 Time was this used to be one of my go-to session beers. But either I’ve got an over-the-hill bottle (Total Wine, highly possible) or the qualiity’s down of late. The slicing citrus I recall so fondly just isn’t there for more than a second, leaving only an indistinct mush of funk and malt. It’s still a decent drink but not what I’m used to.

Aug 2, 2007 Thanks to Suttree for trading this to me. Medium copper with a small white head. Aroma is funky hops, raw malts, citrus. Flavor is also on the funky side. Sort of metallic hops with a mile citrusy lemon finish. I’m guessing it might be an infected bottle.

Jul 12, 2007 Decent IPA. It’s not over powered by too much hops. A bit of pine and citrus in the flavor. Very dry finish.

Jul 10, 2007 6/20/2007: Cottonwood Endo IPA is deep honey-amber in color with a frothy beige head. The aroma is mostly sweet caramel malts. The flavor is balanced between a mild to moderate bitterness and a nice, sweet maltiness and toast. The finish has a bit of bite to it. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and a solid palate. This would be a good session IPA...

Jul 4, 2007 Pours a clear slightly dark orange color with a thin white head. Mild grassy hop aroma - kind of stale smelling. Light palate. The staleness in the flavor comes over to the taste. The hop flavors are unexciting and a bit flat. Not horrible, but there’s quite a few IPAs out there to grab over this one.

Jul 2, 2007 Poured amber with white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Started off hoppy and finished with a sweet malt flavor. Hints of citrus throughout.
