Commercial Description:
ENDO INDIA PALE ALE is said to be "Brewed with Altitude". The style is similar to IPAs from the Pacific Northwest. We dry-hoop Endo with Cascade hops to enhance the aroma and bitterness.

(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy red pour with a thin film of tan head and some floating sediment. Very light aroma but what I can smell is very hoppy and citrusy. Taste begins with a spicy and hoppy flavor. The middle is smooth and malty and the finish is very bitter and hoppy. Leaves a very bitter aftertaste on the tongue. Nice and hoppy. Thanks Dan.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark copper with a great craggy fine bubbled beige head that left nice lacing. Nose is evenly split between sweet caramel maltiness and resiny hops. Rich malty background gives the resiny hops a run for their money in the flavor as well, leaning towards malt. Finish is bitter and lingering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy with very fine carbonation. A decent IPA, but I prefer more brightness in the hops versus the thick resiny profile in this one.

Slightly hazy brown with a thin off-white head. Strong floral hops aroma. Sweet citrus hops flavor with some fruit and malt flavors in the background.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber with a large head and a decent amount of carbonation. Scents of malts and a smidge of hops intermingling along with fruit. A malty sweetness on the palate, and apple/grapefruit flavors as well as some raisins. An interesting IPA, but although it has a bitter finish, not very hoppy.

Woohoo! Beer # 100 for me. Thanks to Dave, Jason, Chuck, and Blake for getting me into the enjoyment of beer. Anyway, on to the review for this. This has a pleasant, slightly hoppy aroma. Has a beautiful brown amber body, with lively carbonation and a nice strong light tan head. Flavor is kind of bitter and hoppy, but at the same time, it all seems kind of weak. Decent body, although the carbonation seems light. Overall, it’s OK, but I’ve had better IPAs.

Darkish amber / orange color... clear. Off-white creamy head with decent lacing. Initially more hops in the aroma... dry grapefruit. Turns into sweet caramelly pez with small hops in background. More inspection yields my infamous vegetal / stewed alfala along with some sweat in the backgorund. Soapy malt taste. The alfafa shows up here too, with some sweetening caramel. A bit too fizzy... and too bitter. However, it does grown on you a bit once acclimated to the bitterness.

Bottle. Clear brown body, thin tan head. Apple, plant stem and a basic pale/caramel sweetness in the aroma. Prety bitter flavor - pine sap and grapefruit rind (but no grapefruit flesh) over a dry pale malt (bread and light plum) finish. If you like your IPAs dry and crisp this is your beer - doesn’t excite me a whole lot.
