Lots of caramel in the nose with some flowery hops. Pours a dark amber with a touch of haze and a orangish-white head that lasts a minute or so. Sweet up front with moderate caramel and fruitiness. Real big flowery hop finish that’s a tad acidic. A little metallic in the finish. I would say more of an EPA than IPA. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

Malty nose with some floral hop. Initially a malty tasting beer, which surprised me given the description. Hop bitterness comes out in the lingering finish with pine and some faint grapefruit rind at the end. I get an almost berry fruitiness in this. Not a bad beer, but not what I think of as a good IPA. chronictonic (404), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA

Still plenty of bitter hops and it all comes together well. A very pleasant suprise while vacationing in North Carolina. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA

Orange and grapefruit are obvious, some Carolina pine and spice. Not a lot of body, some bread and biscuits late. Not my favorite interpretation of the style. May be the choice of hops. The aroma is stale and a bit weedy.
