Commercial Description:
ENDO INDIA PALE ALE is said to be "Brewed with Altitude". The style is similar to IPAs from the Pacific Northwest. We dry-hoop Endo with Cascade hops to enhance the aroma and bitterness.

Bottle: Courtesy of BlueDevil0206 via trade. Lots of caramel in the nose with some flowery hops. Pours a dark amber with a touch of haze and a orangish-white head that lasts a minute or so. Sweet up front with moderate caramel and fruitiness. Real big flowery hop finish that’s a tad acidic. A little metallic in the finish. I would say more of an EPA than IPA.

It seems kind of peppery and smooth at the same time, not a bad IPA. I got this one at Chips in the Outer Banks of NC.

Wow, awesome hop aroma! Flavor is bitter, piney hops, grapefruit. Very smooth palate, easy drinking. Thanks Jay!

Amber color beer out of the bottle with a nice fluffy tan head. Malty nose with some floral hop. Initially a malty tasting beer, which surprised me given the description. Hop bitterness comes out in the lingering finish with pine and some faint grapefruit rind at the end. I get an almost berry fruitiness in this. Not a bad beer, but not what I think of as a good IPA.

bottle - bier garden - asheville nc - perfumy hop aroma. very little malt aromas at all. medium to thin body - flavor is dominated by the hops. perfumy, flowery flavor - lacking the fresh green hop flavor that i prefer. imho, not the best hop bitterness out there - not sure what kind they used, but i guess i prefer a different variety.

In the category of IPA’s with a big earthy malt backbone. Still plenty of bitter hops and it all comes together well. A very pleasant suprise while vacationing in North Carolina.

Thanks to Suttree. The Endo pours a bright brown-orange with the thinest of tan heads. Orange and grapefruit are obvious, some Carolina pine and spice. Not a lot of body, some bread and biscuits late. Not my favorite interpretation of the style. May be the choice of hops. The aroma is stale and a bit weedy.
