Commercial Description:
ENDO INDIA PALE ALE is said to be "Brewed with Altitude". The style is similar to IPAs from the Pacific Northwest. We dry-hoop Endo with Cascade hops to enhance the aroma and bitterness.

This beer poured a very coppery amber color which is strange since its an IPA..usually they are a lot lighter. Anyhow, the head is thick and soapy, slightly pearlish and off-white but it dies off quickly without lacing. The aroma is fairly heavenly with candy sugar, caramel, apples, orange peel, ceramic tile and more malt. The carbonation is active but more or less in check here. The flavor is very malty and sugar coated for an IPA. Its just so easy to spot those east coast IPA’s because they are balanced heavily toward the sweet side. The only remnant of hoppiness is the slight bittering finish. No complaints however, as I do enjoy a sweet beer. Some nectarine flavor mid-taste, with a hint of cough medicine and sherry....interesting beer.

Darker than most Pale Ales with respectable crown on top. Clean medium strong (for such beer) hoppy aroma, decent sweet malts placed behind. On fuller side this ale is placed, sweet with hoppy aftertaste. Chewy, sticky mouthfeel .A bit short finish. Warming alcohol. Nice ale . Thank you Joy!

Draught @ the brewery: This one was an orangish-amber color. It had a bit of a head on it. There is a nice nose of hops to this one, with somewhat of a grapefruit character. This had a nice taste to it. Its balance is good, with a decent hoppy dry finish. Just a little lacking compared to some of the other big boys, but that is more likely due to the NC 6% regulations. Give them another 1% and they could probably make this one really excellent.

Pours a very amber color. So dark for an IPA and I love em this way. The malt is always slightly spicier and much more prevalent in the more orange IPA’s...maybe that’s wrong but it sure seems so. HEad is here to stay and then laces out. This brew smells really dry, fruity and slightly irony. The flavors are great. The irony charcater really stands out though. Hoppy and excellent at first, then dry and skunky from the house yeast and finally very irony and briney-like. Good brew. Especially for North Carolina. Gotta try the Catawba Valley though...! G-rat

Bottled: A good, fresh IPA without any great complexity. A "blue collar" IPA if there ever was one. Nice grapefruit/citrus dominated flavor with obviouis Cascade hops presence. It’s nice to have a local (relatively) IPA that is decent.

This is a super IPA. IPAs are my least favorite style, but this one is great. It poured a rather light brown color with a nice hoppy aroma. Had a small hint of citus upon the hoppy flavor. Again a very nice IPA

Golden amber with athin layer of foam.Somewhat cloudy not sludgey.I was impressed with this because as soome as I opened this I detected the tell tale aroma of the lovely hop.The citrus of the hops wasn’t overpowering but very nicely done.Flavor isn’t quite as nice as the aroma but this could be a good session brew.

Thickness in the grapefruit aroma... lotsa hops with kick, rather tha just being overlaced. Appearance is nice: deep amber, almost cloudy... small, but pretty head. Flavor is sweet and sour, with light pine flavor, and a deep malt that is overturned by a back end of lovely hops.
