Commercial Description:
ENDO INDIA PALE ALE is said to be "Brewed with Altitude". The style is similar to IPAs from the Pacific Northwest. We dry-hoop Endo with Cascade hops to enhance the aroma and bitterness.

On Tap - Carolina Beer Co. Brewpub - Charlotte Airport. Dark orange pour, snow white head medium thickness with a bit of lacing. Brief spruce in the aroma - not overly pronounced. Good subtle grapefruity goodness, hints of apricots, with some back end nutty maltiness. Sticky mouthfeel - lets you know you just had something to drink without leaving an aftertaste of toothpaste.

This is tasty stuff. Orange pour, and a citrusy astringent aroma. Taste lacks the citrus a bit but added pine, with the astringency mellowing out as it warms. Nothing overly hoppy or out of this world, but always good and a nice session drink.

Appearance is dark orange with a creamy head. Aroma of malt, citrus hops, and grain. Taste is hoppy as well, with a little more grain than the aroma had. Really not as bitter as I’d expect for an IPA. More grain as well. Body is about what I’d expect for an IPA. Not a great IPA, but not bad by any means.

overall, an average IPA. definitely not for hop-heads. pours a clear amber with no head. aroma is very faint and more malty that hoppy with slight traces of citrus. flavor is slightly watered down but well balanced. no lingering aftertaste. while i’m partial to the mountain bike clad icon on the bottle, this beer simply lacks the flavor of a true IPA.

Bottle courtesy of ucusty. Pours a hazy orange-amber with an average size lasting frothy off-white head, millions of tiny little floaties and decent lacing. Sweet, hoppy aroma with caramel malt, sweet fruit, some grain and light citrus hops. Flavour follows the aroma, it’s slightly watery but decent tasting -- could use more hops in the initial flavour, they mostly come through just in the finish. Not much going on in the flavour but it goes down easy enough. Average bodied. Started well with the appearance and aroma but it kind of disappoints after that, it’s just not flavourful enough.

orange/amber pour. decent white bubbly head. light pine hop aroma and carmel malt. flavor was similar. fairly thin. malt seemed to come through more than the hop. light bitterness in the finish. decent and easy drinking, nothing offensive but also nothing great.

Bottle thanks to CaptainCougar. Pours an amber with nice off-white head. Nose of light hops and caramalized sugar. Flavor has slight oxidized hint, with light hops. More roasted malt than anything, reminded me of an ESB. Body was on the light side, with a thin bitter finish.
