Commercial Description:
ENDO INDIA PALE ALE is said to be "Brewed with Altitude". The style is similar to IPAs from the Pacific Northwest. We dry-hoop Endo with Cascade hops to enhance the aroma and bitterness.

Bottle in Charlotte. Pours a golden color with a white foamy head. Nose is grassy and fresh with some light pine. Palate is stingy and a decent thickness. Flavors of grass and pine with light honey sweetness.

12 oz bottle. THanks to my girlfriend. poures an orange haze with a light head. Aroma is kinda harsh for its alcohol content which is low. Kinda nutty beer, watered down. Nothing to special not even an IPA to me

12oz bottle courtesy of Degarth. Pours with just a hint of haziness, although I’m struggling to see Quake1028 though it. The body haze sort of an orange to rust look with some gold on the edges with off white head and weak spotty lacing. The aroma started initially with an unfortunate metal note. I then get kettle caramelization and molasses mixed together with some lightly roasted malt sweetness. The hop flavor is rather weak to start with maybe some faint pine, grapefruit bitterness. It is tough to pick up. Better check the label again, wow, this is an IPA? Just timid vague bitterness to go along with lightly roasted malts that just ride to the finish. Not really an IPA taste from my point of view.

Bottle courtesy Suttree - Thanks!! Pours a pretty deep mahogany with a one finger white head which thins into a lasting film. Aroma somewhat subdued with hints of citric hops and a bit of forest in there too. Something else in there that is odd, that I probably need to have about another 1000 ratings to pick out, but its not something that appeals to me. Flavor is strong on the bitter, piney hops, some ctirus hops, and burnt caramel malts. Mouthfeel is pretty average...somewhat oily, but not overly so. Overall, this IPA is just too bitter for my palate, as the cascade hops just take over early and don’t let go. Not my favorite IPA by a long shot.

Bottle again courtesy of Degarth. Notes were getting pretty shady at this point in the night. Light copper body with a medium sized white head. Loosely formed and very sudsy, with excellent retention and some drip lacing. Aroma of bitter citric hops, pine resin and just a hint of backing malts. Flavor is the same, concentrating on the bitterness from the hops. Cascade is still the only hop I can’t warm up to, so this score suffers a bit for that reason. Medium bodied, true to style. Finish is floral hops to start, then more of the harsh bitterness from the Cascade. Decent beer, could have been better to my tastes with another featured hop.

12 oz bottle. Decent attempt at an IPA. Mild nose, kind of off in a funky way. Thicker pastey body, with plenty of hop notes. Would probably skip next time.

12-oz. Medium amber with bright caramel highlights. Funky, footy, basementy notes on the nose. Medium body, medium fizzy carb. Nut and biscuit on the mid-palate. Mild toasty finish.

Bottle from my secret santa. Thanks! Hazy orange pour with a 1-finger white head. Floral and pine hop aroma with some malt backing it up. Flavor was similar, but there was a biting astringency to it that really turned me off. I think Ed who rated this just before me might have it right. Could be the mineral content of the water. Anyway, like he said: I wouldn’t refuse this if it were to be offered to me, but I won’t seek it out either.
