Jun 17, 2006 Hazy amber-red colour. Woody, bitter orange aroma with earthy, brown sugar malts. Quite sweet on the palate, sticky crystal malts dominate the woody, earthy hops. Bump up the scores a bit if you dig lots of crystal in your IPA.

Sep 8, 2002 How do you rate a beer that gives you exactly what you expect from an American IPA? There’s nothing special about it, but there’s no disappointment either. Floral hoppy aroma, strong hoppy flavor complemented by sweet and fruity maltiness. Good aftertaste loaded with bitterness.

Dec 17, 2005 12oz bottle acquired in trade with Suttree (thanks!). Poured a dark and slightly hazy copper color with a huge (4 finger) sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, lightly spicy, caramel and a it has a light earthiness to it. Tastes of citrus, lighter caramel with a lightly spicy finish. I expected more of a bitter bite. Body on the thin and bordering on watery side.

Nov 29, 2009 @Knoxville Brewers Jam-on tap-pours a tan head and amber color. Aroma is herbal/resin hops, some medium malt, roasty. Taste is herbal/resin hops-nice bite, secondary medium malt-roasty. Good carbonation.

Caramel, black tea and grapefruit. The nose is citrusy with notes of black tea, grapefruit, toffee and sweat. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes medium bitter and dry.
