Jun 29, 2008 Tasted on a recent visit to Woods on South in Charlotte, NC. Pours a dark amber color with thin off-white/tan head. Aroma is hoppy, sweet, malty, hints of grain and grass. Flavor is much of the same, a little sweet a little bitter. Generally light to medium-bodied without a lingering finish.

Mar 14, 2008 Dark brown body with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with light molassas. Caramel, molassas and light raisin flavor. Medium full body with moderate carbonation.

Sep 29, 2007 Not a big fan of the hoppy ales but you cant deny this beers appeal to the fans of this style.
I believe(Know)cottenwood was bought out by caroling brewing co. f.w.i.w.
