From a 12-oz bottle this brew pours a dark coppery amber with a thin light tan head with good lacing. Aroma of piney hops, carameled corn, some citrus with cinnamon. Taste has a nice sweet and hoppy beginning and then thin out in the finish with a slight dry citrus aftertaste. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 29, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Beer_God (thanks!). Poured a medium brown color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of toasted nuts, citrus, and had a light evergreen aroma to it. Tastes of citrus, pine, and toasted malts. Not sure how old this is, but there was still a definite hoppy presence to the aromas and tastes. After the Brown Ales I’ve been going through lately, this one was a nice change up.
