Bottle courtesy of emacgee. Thanks man!
Pours clear yellowish with a small whitish head. Smell is grainy, cereal like sweetness with the faintest bit of hops. Taste is somewhat muted with sweetend cereal like flavor going on initially followed by dull, bittering hops. Some slight hop flavor, but more as a balancing act rather than as the star. Moderate body with slightly high, prickly, refreshing carbonation. Not offensive, but not really bursting with flavor either. High drinkability with no off flavors, raises the score a bit for me.

Pours from 12 oz bottle small off-white head atop a lightly hazed amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, caramel, cereal. The flavour is medium sweet, caramel, some pine/floral resins and herbs. Very drinkable light-medium body with light acidity. Would make a pleasant enough session beer. Overall a fair APA, but of course theres much better out there. Made here in NC.

The aroma is plain and simple just grain malt and hops. The appearance is amber with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a very drinkable beer but nothing special.

Man, I need a beer after the headache of applying for a Lowe’s internship. This is BOM club, coincidentally from right down the street in Mo’ville. This is one of the few Cottonwoods I haven’t had yet, so that was a nice surprise. On to the beer, which is a decent pale ale, although a bit too golden in color (and lacking some malty guts, as a result). Not bad, though.

12oz bottle. Pours lighter than expected, with a dark hefeweizen or pils yellow and a light haziness. Nose of apple juice, ginger ale, and wheat wheat yeast, with the flavor mostly consisting of apples and apple juice, and an almost funkified yeast presence, but it doesn’t really turn into anything fantastic. Easy drinking and at the very least it’s different than most other pale ales out there.
