| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Aroma is sour and funky says it all. Interesting brew but I’m not going to waste much more time thinking about it. Weak and funky, that’s all that needs be said. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Pours a bright golden amber with a two finger frothy white head. The aroma is reminiscent of an Amber ale, sour funky malt and some grassy/hay hops. The flavor is similar, kind of thick sweet rotten malt with grassy hops. Not too hot. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2008 The color was clear and golden. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was sweet caramel malt, a light decayed smell, and some hops. The flavor was the same. The palate was average. The finish was clean. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

pour is clear dark yellow with a very small white bubbly head, some lacing.
smell is faint, hay, malt, touch of citrus.
taste is fizzy on the tongue, grain, sweet, some hops, some citrus, end is a little dry with a small bite.
overall an alright beer, that gets better as you drink, becomes more bitter as you go. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Very light bodied pale. Floral hops, fruity and citrus notes. This really tastes like a Lucky Lab beer, something in the way the malt is understanded and the floral take over the flavor to a slightly spicy effect without much bitterness. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2007 To me this really tasted more like a pils than a pale ale. Aroma was grassy hope maybe some dms in there too, it really remided me of pilsner urquell? pour quite blond and transparent with medium amount of carbonation. flavor was same as aroma, grassy with some cereal maltiness. light palate. different take on the APA. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light copper with a rocky white head. The nose is surprisingly fruity with hints of pears, apples, and pleasing citrus. I was not expecting a lot from this, but I was pleasantly surprised. This has a very fruity flavor of pears with acknowledgeable citrusy hop character. The finish brings out a bit of pineapple and nods at pine. Not a great beer, but it’s a solid APA. I’d drink it. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Draft sample at Knoxville Brew Jam. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Light to medium body. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
