Sweet caramel aroma, perhaps some faint citrus hops.Feels a little thin with a light body that leaves little behind. Flovor is sweet, caramel, toffee, and a little grass. Some balance offered by light bitter citrus, but the finish remains sweeter than I think a pale ale should be.There is nothing actually offensive about this beer. Swilling down a few on a hot afternoon would be OK, but I always hope for more from the brewers in my home state. JPDIPSO (4935), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 10, 2006 Dark gold to bronze in color. A moderate dark cream colored head. A somewhat typical amber aroma, but this one does seem to be more balanced actually mildly enjoyable. mild caramel and licorice dominate. Somewhat thin in feel. Mild orange peel and light malt flavors. Not very interesting and rather close to boring. Certainly not a pale ale, more light amber. argo0 (7011), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is medium sweet, floral, caramel, cereal. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some pine/floral. Very drinkable light-medium body with light acidity. Would make a pleasant enough session beer. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2006 Orange brown color, light head. Very smooth, drinkable, definitely had a hop punch to it though. Like this one almost as much as their India Pale. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 4, 2006 orange colored pour. white head. easy to drink, good summer beer. more or less what i wish all beer - (macros) - would taste like. smooth, nice little hop kick. decent all around, these could disappear in a good days yardwork easily. wilkie (1193), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 8, 2006 Bottle. Light copper color, with medium whitish head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, with cereal. Flavor is hoppy but thin. I can taste distinct flavors of pine and citrus, but there is a soft sour finish that makes me think that this is a light beer version of a pale ale. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 7, 2006 Pours a yellowish orange color with a decent sized white head. Light hops in the aroma with some fruit and faint sourness. Sort of sour hop profile with a sweet malty finish. This is about as average as average can get. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 6, 2006 Pours light golden amber with a quick finish off white head. Aroma is a little hoppy with some sweet malts. Taste is alright, a fair run at a pale ale. Nothin’ speacial, but the price is right.
