argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Mar 25, 2006 (12oz bottle, thanks wilkie) Small off-white head atop a lightly hazed amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, caramel, cereal. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some pine/floral. Very drinkable light-medium body with light acidity. Would make a pleasant enough session beer. hopscotch (4460), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 4, 2006 Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Hazy amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Fruity, beefy nose extends notes of apricot, broth and perspiration. The flavor offers toffee and fruity sweetness evened-out by grapefruit bitterness. Medium-bodied with modest carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Refreshing, but fairly bland. acrdz (4285), Boulder, Colorado, USA Feb 13, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours lighter than expected, with a dark hefeweizen or pils yellow and a light haziness. Nose of apple juice, ginger ale, and wheat wheat yeast, with the flavor mostly consisting of apples and apple juice, and an almost funkified yeast presence, but it doesn’t really turn into anything fantastic. Easy drinking and at the very least it’s different than most other pale ales out there. JPDIPSO (4221), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 10, 2006 Dark gold to bronze in color. A moderate dark cream colored head. A somewhat typical amber aroma, but this one does seem to be more balanced actually mildly enjoyable. mild caramel and licorice dominate. Somewhat thin in feel. Mild orange peel and light malt flavors. Not very interesting and rather close to boring. Certainly not a pale ale, more light amber.
