I enjoyed this beer poured into a glass from a bottle purchased in Hilton Head, SC. Recommended by the sales clerk, this beer has a pleasant malty aroma. The taste is malty and tinged with a citrus taste, with a strong finish. Agree that flavor is a bit more prominent than most pale ales.

Slightly cloudy copper orange. faint aroma of fruit and crackers. Flavor is fruity, then sort of peppery, the resiny, all nicely blended. Nice session pale ale.

Amberish/gold colour, mid sized white head. Fruity hop in the aroma with more in the flavour, but not too much for a standard pale ale. The flavour was a bit light on everything else.

Bottle. Pours a light copper with a rocky white head. The nose is surprisingly fruity with hints of pears, apples, and pleasing citrus. I was not expecting a lot from this, but I was pleasantly surprised. This has a very fruity flavor of pears with acknowledgeable citrusy hop character. The finish brings out a bit of pineapple and nods at pine. Not a great beer, but it’s a solid APA. I’d drink it.

The color was clear and golden. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was sweet caramel malt, a light decayed smell, and some hops. The flavor was the same. The palate was average. The finish was clean.

Tap at Woods on South 2/1/08: Pours a transparent deep golden with a thin, clingy-lacing froth of white head. Has a fresh piny resiny hop nose and a light malty backbone. Starts effervescent and semi-sweet balanced with an earthy piny hop flavor before a blander grainy dry finish A decent APA but could use a little more body and sweetness.

Drank straight from the bottle at my friend’s wedding in Charlotte. I’m glad I tried this tasty brew. Can’t comment on the appearance, but flavor is nicely hopped while not being too much in your face. I will agree with some of the others that it seems closer to an amber than an american pale ale.

Orange brown color, light head. Very smooth, drinkable, definitely had a hop punch to it though. Like this one almost as much as their India Pale.
