Sweet cake/bread smelling malt aroma. Red-tinted brown color witha pinky sized tan head that is mostly diminishing. Fruity sweet fore holds a little raisin, pumpernickel, caramel and brown sugar. It has slight dunkel notes the flavor profile. Fairly tasty, but the finish is painfully watery.

Clear dark brown color, lots of bubbles, with a big creamy off white head. Aroma is malty, creamy, fair amount of chocolate, with a touch of nuttyness. Flavor is crisp, malty, hint of chocolate, with a mild bitterness in the finish. A good brew, but nothing particularly special.

Dark cola color... frothy tan head. Chocolate malt aroma... some caramel and vanilla. Taste has the same; its kind of a rich brown. It also has a tannic twang to it... not sure what that is. Actually... it almost taste like it was aged in a cardboard lined barrel.

Draught at the Flying Saucer in Raleigh, NC. Clear brown color without much head. Not much nose at all with the exception of dried leaves and brown sugar. Brown sugar comes out again in the flavor in addition to subtle molasses and carmel. Dry and a bit over-carbonated.
