Looks like a stout, drinks much lighter. Served to a group of people who almost only drink Miller Lite. figured I would have to switch away, but they all liked it and drank it all night. A good, quality beer with depth that you can drink even when you want to have more than just a few.

Reddish color clear ok head. Smell is toasty, malty with darker malts, and sweet. Taste is light, toast, and malts. A little watery and thin.

Bottle, thanks to Travita. Poured a hazy light brown/red color, as if a light cola and cranberry juice were mixed together, with beige head, Kinda low retention. Aroma was citris, almost grape like. Has a nice light tang with slight malt flavor. Light body and somewhat low carbonation. This beer just needed a bit more body in my opinion, seems too watery.

Pours reddish brown, short head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the rim. Fresh malty aroma, chocolate and roastiness. Taste is chocolate, raisin and caramel, in that order. Nutty aftertaste. Very interesting flavor palette. Moderate body, a little fizzy over the tongue. Not too bitter, not too sweet, very enjoyable.

On tap at Charlotte Airport. Nothing special with the brown, medium mouthfeel, a pretty bland version of the style. Darker than, say, a Newcastle, but nothing approaching it in quality.

Draft. Clear, red tinged brown with a thick beige head. Nose and flavor match - a nice, even nuttiness touched with chocolate. A bit of roastiness. A nice drinker. Not complex - just a straightforward brown. Mild nutty bitter finish.
