A very common brown ale with a crisp taste and yet a thin feel at times. I would drink this one again

Bottle courtesy of ucusty. Pours brown with a generous whitish tan head. Smells of soap, caramel, touches of chocolate. Tastes slightly tarte with some touches of caramel but little else.

Good brown ale standard. Not as good as charleston brown by same company but still a good brown.

Poured from bottle. Swampy, roasty aroma. Very dark amber - almost dark as a stout. Cocoa dominates the flavor, sort of a chocolate poerter. Has porter-feel to it. Unique. Not bad.

Single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Nice brown color with a small head. Aroma is a nice mix of coffee and cocoa. Nice tasting and not too sweet.

A very good brown. Dark brown with a beige head. Flavor is sweet with a lot of roasted malt. One of my favorite browns.

Bottle. Cocoa, coffee and alcohol aroma. Dark brown colow with small head. Strong oatmeal, cappuccino and citrus hops flavor. Body a bit lighter than aroma would lead you to believe. A very nice brown ale.
