The only fault is that I got a slightly sour taste at the very end of the drink. Odeed (1673), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 3, 2007 Hazelnut colour with minimal head. Aroma is malty, bready and rye with a touch of tree hops. Flavour is sweeter with lots of darker malts. Simple brown ale that doesn’t really excite. IrishBoy (2712), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Draught. Had a great dark Ruby color and a almost ne head. Taste is a classic brown flavor with light berry flavors. Goes down really nicely. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 13, 2007 A slow start to a good beer. This poured to a dark ruby-brown, with thin tan head that disspated quickly to little lacing. Aroma was very faint, and I could detect only a hint of malty chocolate...nothing impressive so far.
Surprisingly, this medium bodied beer had a very pleasant and full flavor of chocolate and toffee, almost like a fresh baked candy turtle. The flavor lingered over into a nice long smooth finish, amking this local beer much better than I first anticipated. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA
