A dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate and oranges, as well as light notes of coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of cappuchino and vanilla. The body is a bit thin.

Dark brown. Vague malty aroma with a hint of chocolate. Soft malts, with a light chocolate signature.

Small tan head atop a clear red-brown body. Aroma is sweet, floral hoppy, with some chocolate. Taste is mildly sweet and chocolate malty with a hint of roastiness. A touch of cherry sourness creeps in.

(Bottle, courtesy of travita) Pours a mahogany body with a small beige head. Aroma of raisins, grape juice, toasted malt, and light smoke. Flavor of light smoke, chocolate, caramel and roasted malt.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with CaptainCougar (thanks!). Poured a medium brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of roast, caramel, and chocolate. Tastes of toasted nuts, caramel, and chocolate.

on tap-pours a tan head. Color is brown with red tint. Aroma is malty, sweet. Taste is malty, sweet, hint of coffee.

Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Clear, dark ruby ale with a small, fizzy, khaki head. Chocolate, vanilla and caramel aroma. The flavor is medium sweet, mildly chocolatey and nutty. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with gentle carbonation. Finishes sweet and chocolatey with a hint of smoke.
