(#3457, 5/04/2008) Draft at Biergarden, although I’m still not sure it was really this beer, based on the commercial description here. Mine was walnut brown and clear with a slightly nutty aroma. Smooth and delicious. Incredibly quaffable, yet hints at some sugary kick to it. Overall, nutty and mild.

Bottle at Cambrinus in Brugge (though they really had to search long and hard for it). Near cola aroma. Dark amber color with a small off-white head. Medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is mixed. Oak. Caramel. Floral hop. It’s very nice. The finish is dry, lightly bitter. Each taste seems mundane, then transforms into something satisfyingly tasty. It’s not the best beer ever, but it’s extremely good in a laid back way.

Bottled. Citric sourness, grapefruit aroma. Amber color, large beige head, good lace, lots of bubbles. Pretty sweet, fruity, malty, bit earthy/yeasty, none of the citrus or sourness back in the flavor, little sticky. Very drinkable although too sweet.
