Biscuity, apple, citrus aroma with a little caramel. Almost clear, tawny chestnut with nice, white lace. Biscuity caramel flavour with faintly lemony hops. Also a touch of lotus root in the finish. Light body, low carbonation, clean finish.

Jun 20, 2009 Amber with a thin white head. Good malty aroma with floral hop notes coming through. The flavour is the same malt and fruitiness with a touch of caramel as well. Medium bodied with a smooth bitter finish.

Copper with a pretty laced head.
Light malty aromas with touches of cereal and hints of iron.
Weird barnyard straw with heavy savoury tones dominating it in the mouth.
Smooth but boring.
It is drinkable and kind of enjoyable but the flavour changes and it becomes lame pretty fast.

Feb 27, 2009 Pint in the Bell, Redbrook. Nice copper colour. Thin white head. Aroma of hops and slightly fruity. Smooth texture. Good but simple best bitter.

Dec 21, 2008 Very solid beer and quite a popular one in many pubs. Good flavour all round. One i would recommend. Slightly better than Directors.
