The head was thick and off white like sea foam with good retention and lacing. The aroma was hop dominated with citrus fruit, apricot, and papaya elements. There were also whiffs of graham and toffee. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet with expected lowish cask-appropriate carbonation. There was more balance between malt and hop in the flavor. I tasted honey, subdued caramel, grass, and a bit of pine. Really good stuff. This would be a great standard cask offering at the brewpub.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Pours a nice orangish goldish color with a good head with solid retention and some very nice lace. The aroma is lightly soapy but has plenty of fresh hop character and some good citrus notes. Flavor is nicely malty and a touch sweet, but there are some nice fruity things going on and this has a very good American hop flavor to it. Pretty tasty.
