| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2009 Had this one off tap at brewpub. Poured a pretty dark brown with a thin head. Smelled and tasted strongly of coffee, chocolate, and oats. Somewhat watered down, and might have been a little bit green. Overall, the flavor was pretty good, it just need to be a little more full. ketchepillar (485), Des Moines/Grinnell, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 1, 2009 Coffee and grainy. Nice roasted barley character with a little soft chocolate flavor comprises the dark malts. Something is a little off, might be a bit green. mrmantastick (16), , Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2008 nice, foamy stout. whats not to like about a stout? could be a little more powerful. bbrock81 (221), Le Mars, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Decent effort, but not really all that great. Coffee aroma and flavor do come through, but not as strongly as one would like. Nitro tap detrimental to flavor, as always, and does not give the beer the creamy mouthfeel that is the only upside to this method. kseecs16 (907), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 19, 2008 Tried on cask, and draught. Difference was fairly subtle with the cask being silkier in the mouth as to be expected and a slightly more nuanced roast and sweet flavor. Overall a very basic light stout. Opaque tan creamy head. Basic roast malts some light char in the finish a creamy sweet body. Dryness lingers nicely filling the mouth. Quaffable and basic.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2008 I always get this Cask Conditioned, and as of the last time I had it, I’ll admit that I dearly love it.
From the taste and smell this might as well be called a mocha stout. Never the Less this really dosen’t do it justice. There are fantastic coffee and coco armoas and flavors involved in this brew, but it has a nice roasty and dry character. The beer has a very deep brown color with a resiliant head. The palate is big and round, but very smooth.
