Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy dark amber, unfiltered.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread/grain, caramel, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, apricot), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, basement), with notes of peach and black tea, hint of ginger.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, slightly metallic.
Nice aroma starts things off well enough, but the mouth experience is a little odd (I almost want to say "gritty") and a bit too syrupy sweet. Close but no cigar.
