courtesy of Oliver Bieri - opaque dark black coloured with a firm and long lasting beige foam; fairly toasted nose with notes of ashes and bacon; moderate malt body, very creamy palate, tart and slightly acidic; moderately dry, creamy and toasted malty finish with weird notes of vegetables - something looks wrong to me here

330ml bottle (Stockman, Tallinn)
Almost black, brief fizzy tan head. Slightly sharp and almost sour aroma, but not off. Sharp carbonation, quite harsh. Roasted body. Taste has some of the sharpness from the aroma, and quite a kick of really burnt malts. Not so far as to be ashy though, quite a good schwartz in fact. Finish is almost entirely deeply roasted malts.

Pours a four finger tan head that fades slowly leaving traces of lace. Black color, no highlights. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Oak nose. Flavor is a smokey oak and subdued caramel. Best by Dec 2009. €1.45 ($2.06) for a 330ml bottle from a supermarket in Athens, Greece.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Malty aroma with some roasted hints and elements of dried fruit and caramel. Roasted and slightly smoky taste with hints of coffee, chocolate and caramel. Fairly enjoyable.
