courtesy of Oliver Bieri - clear reddish-amber colour under a solid pale beige foam; fair aroma of smoked bacon; medium-bodied, some tartness and a light bitterness, quite dry smokey aftertaste of cold ashes - good but rather one-dimensional

Bottle that my dad picked up in Zante and brought back for me, consumed 29-09-09 Pours amber with off-white head, smoky aroma with a touch of toffee and malt. Taste is smoky and malty, touch of metallicyness at the corners of the mouth also there is even a slight smoked sausageness about this, I really liked this, lovely stuff. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has a very nice smoke note from beech wood. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of smoke from beech wood, that also lends it a bit of acidity.

330ml bottle (Stockman, Tallinn)
Orange, healthy head. Sweet smooth buttery smokey aroma. Crisp carbon, phenolic smokey retronasals. Beer base is not so full, but the smokiness is quite bold. Sme hops there too, but they mostly hide behind the smoke. Finish not so long - a hint of the smoke remains after a while, but everything else is long gone. Pretty tasty, much better than your average lager, and a fair stab at a rauch, but quite simple.
