fordest (1684), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Jul 28, 2008 Sampled at the Stone Sour Fest. A little weak on the nose. Flavors were better with just a touch of tartness. Heavier on the wheat twang that really showed that it was a wheat beer. Just OK DaSilky1 (1598), San Diego, California, USA Jul 22, 2008 Greenish yellow color and completely opaque with a halo of white above. The nose was of hay, straw and cereal with hints of spice. Flavors were muddled, spicy, and grainy for the most part with cereal and banana lingering in the aftertaste. I didnt find this complex like a think a berliner weisse should be, but big props for trying. There’s a sligh tanginess but i think the grainy character overshadows this. wetherel (991), Carlsbad, California, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at Stone’s Sour Fest 2008. Cloudy yellow color. Super easy to drink. Plastic phenolic aroma (in a good way). riversideAK (1569), Shoreline, Washington, USA Oct 23, 2007 Aroma is wheat, banana, and lemon. Yellow in color. Flavor is lemony tart with a little yeasty clove in the backround. Super tart. Super enjoyable! WeeHeavySD (1711), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Sep 11, 2007 Tenth sample Stone Anniversary Fest XI. Pours yellow with a bright white ring of a head. Not much of a nose for me. It was sweet and tart as the style should be. Pretty nice, not great, but tasty.
