Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin beige head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and light peppery hops. Medium-bodied and clean with flavors of yeast, fruit and spices. Sweet caramel malt undertones as well. The finish is spiced with a fruity aftertaste. Aroma was hoppier than expected with a goo amount of caramel malt balance. Flavor wasn’t quite as hoppy, which was a bit surprising based on the aroma. Flavor was good and well balanced.
