Aug 4, 2008 Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with a strong spicy note of coriander and more, with an underlying note of caramel. The flavor is sweet wtih notes of caramel on which is a strong note of spices with coriander being strongest.

Aug 4, 2008 From tap at Pizza Port, Carlsbad. pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Smooth spiced and light caramel malty aroma. Spiced base flavour with a solid caramel malt presence and mild bitterness towards the finish. Caramel lingering into the far finish yet with a constant dry spice note.

May 11, 2008 Murky amber. Big, bright caramel nose with white pepper. Caramel malts to the fore with earthy accents and hints of vanilla. Somewhat minerally finish.

Jun 5, 2006 Barrel Aged draft @ Lucky Baldwins 12/05: Clear amber color with a minmal off-white head. Some funky notes in the aroma right off the bat. Clovey spice, leather, estery. Sweet fruity flavor with caramel notes and a light spice and touch of wood. Silky soft mouthfeel.

Jul 8, 2008 Sample at San Diego Brewing Company. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin beige head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and light peppery hops. Medium-bodied and clean with flavors of yeast, fruit and spices. Sweet caramel malt undertones as well. The finish is spiced with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sep 13, 2007 Light amber in color. Aroma is sweet and spicy. Flavor is more sweet yeast and spice, mild fruit with a bitter/sour aspect as well. I have had better saisons, and I like some of their other beers alot more, but all in all, not bad.
