On tap at Stone. Another beer I missed at the Sour fests. Amber color. Nice sour tartness. Lactic sour, little or no acetic acid. Kind of like a cherry tartness. Easy to drink. Delicious.

On tap at Lucky Baldwin’s Belgian fest Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a small head, the flavor is slightly tart. Certainly not a ’big’ sour ale, but more of one that you can sit back relax and sip for a while.

Clear Amber color with lacey froth. Subtle sour nose. Palate is on the weak side, but clean. Unfortunately, this is one of those beers that leaves me with pretty much nothing to say. The beer completely lacks inspiration word inducements...which sucks from a rating standpoint. I dig craftsman and Marc as a brewer, but this is on the boring side.

On tap @ Blind Lady. A pleasant Flanders style sour ale. Not too sour, easy drinking and enjoyable as any other I’ve had. A nice treat.

Rating #20 of this brew. Bright orange with off white H & L. Nose is spiced lemon and yeast. Taste is flat tart. Not sweet at all. Mildly bitter with a nice flat sourness. Don’t expect big movement on the palate, because it plunks. Very mild, to a fault. Yeast smack and sllight salivary gland instigator.

Tap at Stone Sour Fest 2009. Pours a dark amber color. Weak aroma of light funk as well as some malt. Flavor is kind of surprisingly on the sweet side with some malt and a nice funk. Tart finish. One of the better ones of the day.

On tap @ Hamy’s. This was one of my last beers of the night, my palate was a little wrecked. Poured a hazed burnt orange with virtually no head. Nose and flavor was Cabernet grapes with lots of oak and good sourness.

Sampled at the Pizza Port Belgian Beer Party. Cherry tartness of the top of this draft beer the moment I got it. Smallish head from this reddish brown pull. Flavor was a bit sweeter and less tart than the aromas had led me to expect. Not too bad.
