On tap at Stone. Hazy brown with pretty much no head. Floral herbal aroma and an herbal tea, grainy, grassy taste. Not bad.

This beer has a nice red color with a thin, from the tap head. It is a fairly standard Pale ale, though certainly well made. It is definitely hop focussed but has a nice malty middle to it that adds a nice point of contrast. This beer is comprised of notes of citrusy hops with a touch of pine and a ballancing caramelized malt character. I certainly might prefer a touch more of a hop punch, but this served as a nice beer to whet my whistle for the evening.

(On cask at the PP Real Ale Fest 2006)Pours with an orange-amber body topped by a thick, creamy head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet, malty and fruity with very little hops...mostly flowery when the hops are evident. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

Lightly hazed amber hue, decent head formation. Grainy malt aroma, very mild spice. Pretty clean palate with light citrussy notes and a touch of spice. Couldn’t really get into this, not sure what role the poop seeds play.

Draught at Lucky Baldwins, Pasadena
Slightly hazy amber body below a dense, creamy, tan coloured head. Very lager like, main body tastes like a quality lager (a la Lagunitas Pils), but also has some mild german hefeweizen qualities to it. Mildly citric and quite banana-y. Subtle odd spiceness, must be the poppy seeds. Overall an above average beer.

Tap @ Lucky Baldwins, Pasadena Slightly hayish nose. Cloudy amber, nice lacing creamy head. Almond and fruit flavors. Slight bitterness afterwards. Medium to light body.
