| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2007 This beer has a nice red color with a thin, from the tap head. It is a fairly standard Pale ale, though certainly well made. It is definitely hop focussed but has a nice malty middle to it that adds a nice point of contrast. This beer is comprised of notes of citrusy hops with a touch of pine and a ballancing caramelized malt character. I certainly might prefer a touch more of a hop punch, but this served as a nice beer to whet my whistle for the evening. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA
