40 ounces of piss water. might as well be clear, aroma does not encourage tasting, be well advised this would be a good one to stay away from.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pale gold color with splotchy whitish head. Corny, wet cardboardy, and metallic aroma, plus strong ethanol. Tastes somewhat pale malty, very corny, with some off metallic and thiol notes. I didn’t finish the 40...not even close.

40 oz. I used to drink a lot of this when I was in college (and it still was Crazy Horse). For 99 cents a 40oz, it wasn’t too bad. There was not much that stood out about this malt liquor. It was wet, and did the trick. The best thing I can say about this is that no one ever wanted to bum one off of you.

Bitchin’ bottle (I only bought this because I’m a Ween fan and love the Stallion songs) but rank taste, will definitely try your tastebuds’ patience. Give it to a friend who’s in desperate need of a buzz and you will at least laugh at his or her facial expressions as they struggle to choke this stuff down.

24 oz. can. Had so many 4.0+ beers lately, I need to reset my palate with something like this. And this is exactly that something. First, it does look a little darker than some pansy-ass Heineken. But there’s a nausea inducing rubbing alcohol and corn syrup smell. And that’s pretty much how it tastes. Very gassy on top of that. So I can taste its wretchedness going down, then taste it again coming back up. Decided to "enjoy" this during the Bears/Rams game because it shares with the NFL a history of ethnic stereotyped mascots. I picked this up in Michigan with some (hopefully much better) Dark Horse at the brewery’s convenience store outlet.

This was the worst of the malt liquors from my early years. Looking back, I would drink this before all others because we all thought this was the strongest of the malts. No one liked it. I could not finish a whole 40. Once it was flat at the bottom, I literally would gag after each gulp and have to pour it down the drain. Terrible corn/metallic taste with a large white head. I just found out now that they had to change the name. They should have just discontinued it.

Deep straw/light gold in color with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of sweet corn and malt, hops are not noticeable, overall not a bad malt liquor.

40oz bottle: Pours a clear golden orange with a thin white head, alcohol and grains in the aroma, starts and ends slightly bland with no real taste. Mild stale ending, but no bad for a 2.5 year old bottle.
