bushbeer (1), Byron Bay, Australia does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 23, 2004 This is a dark and delicious lager. Always enjoy the first bottle or two but then it slows me down a bit with its unique full flavour. Consistency is the bench mark of the brew and brewery. There is always room for a Creem in my fridge. piscator34 (1134), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2004 This is a solid lager, which is very well balanced. Not much to speak about with regards to the nose and the appearance, but flavor wise, it was clean with a nice floral hops kind of finish. Perhaps this one is a bit over-rated, but still a very nice beer. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Certainly the best Canadian Lager I have had and one of the first craft beers I ever had. I think this may have actually introduced me to hops! Subtle though, they add a nice touch to a very clean and balanced beer. Worth a trip to the village and brewery as well. Sammy (4056), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2004 Superior than in the bottle, had served right (not-too-cold ) More balanced, malty without being as sweet and as creamy and as carbonated. Good by itself, or before food or with the meal. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA

A very nice pilsener, presenting a deep gold color with a good hop/grain nose. Flavor is nicely dry, with just enough malt. Finishes with a good hop bite. very nice. Beer Snob (382), Ontario, Canada

This has been a standby beer for a decade or so and it never disappoints. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2004 Light golden colour with a thin white head and some lacing. Crisp aroma of hops and light malt. Flavour is sharp, slightly sulphurous, with faint fruitiness, some hay/grass and a crisp citrus hop finish. Reasonably well balanced but I don't see why everybody likes this one so much. JustinBathurst (134), Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 13, 2004 Pours a cloudy orange-gold amber. Nice lace, but not an enormous head. Aroma is floral with a slight honey. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and has good carbonation. Well-balanced copper bitter bite with a roasted flavour. Hoppy! Hoorah! The bitter washes the tongue over and the carbonation sizzles just right. Everything about the taste is tops. A bitter aftertaste carries the experience onwards in a good decrescendo. As well, the honey sweet is more present in the taste as the beer warms.
An A grade beer for anytime, anywhere. I love this beer.
