radiomgb (1921), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Aug 26, 2007 Golden in colour, lingering white coloured head, some lacing, lots of visible carbonation. The aroma is sweet, grainy, some cereal, herbs and a bit of grass. The flavour is lightly bitter, toasty, grassy hops, pales malts, some bread. Moderatly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes long, moderatly bitter, toasty. Nicely done, decent bitterness, crisp and clean.

No best before date.
OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 23, 2007 473 ml can. Yellow gold colour with a mostly lasting fizzy and creamy white head. Grainy and lightly acidic aroma with some floral and grassy notes. Crisp toasty and grainy malt flavour with a light floral and perfumed bitter finish. Very restrained. Light to medium bodied, crisp but fizzy mouthfeel. Nothing to set it apart from 90% of the other true pilsners in the world - other than the mushroomy, earthy, dirty yeast character that develops as it warms. Oy - bad sign number 1 from these guys after the Molson takeover. JustinBathurst (134), Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada Aug 20, 2007 Pours a dark gold with big head that disappears fairly quick.
It certainly smells like a pilsner--cut grass, celery, lemon. Big on the hops.
Crisp mouthfeel with good carbonation.
Taste is a well-balanced bitterness, grapefruit, and a drop of honey. Very drinkable and very surprising. I had pretty well assumed that this would be a bomb, considering the Molson purchase. I’m glad to see that it hasn’t yet affected the output of the brewery. That said, it doesn’t really go out of its way to justify being a special edition or whatever it is. It’s just a pilsner. piscator34 (1121), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Aug 20, 2007 Updated: Aug 22, 2007Canned sample via gregclow. Light gold in colour with medium carbonation. It’s got a nice mix of floral hop and slightly bready malt aromas. Flavor wise, it’s somewhat similar to the regular Creemore Springs beer, only a bit less sweet, a bit more bitter, and with a nice grassy hop flavor. Still not really hoppy or bitter enough to put it into that traditional Bohemian pilsner class, but it’s nice and drinkable stuff. kkearn (994), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 16, 2007 473mLcan, via trade with radiomgb (thanks, Jeff!). Can is marked "special 20th Anniversary release". Pours pale golden, with a moderate-sized white head. Delicate, crisp hop aroma with some sweet malt. Grassy, hay and lemon up front, which quickly give way to floral hops. long, floral hop finish. nice pils. Gpnterojd (162), Orangeville, Ontario, Canada Aug 15, 2007 Updated: Aug 16, 2007473mL can. Pours with a huge head, settling into a light golden beer. Aroma is nondescript, but says nothing bad about the brew. There is a sweet / fruity quality on the tip of the tongue, transitioning through a small dose of alcohol to just the right amount of hoppy bitterness. The aftertaste lingers pleasantly. While this beer breaks no molds, I could drink these endlessly. HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Aug 12, 2007 Can (473ml). Looks a bit like apple juice - pale clear yellow, but has a decent shaving-creamy/rocky head. Very pleasing pils aroma - fresh-cut timothy and clover hops, very light sweet malt body. Ditto the taste - honey and clover for sure, and very fresh. Light, crisp body, only moderate carbonation, and just a hint of astringency through the quick, sweet, dry finish. I can’t find a fault with this - okay, maybe it’s a TAD sweet - but well done Creemore. This is easily better than the regular Creemore.
