probstk (1007), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Aug 12, 2007 473 mL can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip.
App.: Clear golden, nice foamy white head.
Aroma: Peppery, herbal, grassy hops, light grainy malts, light apple juice.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Smooth.
Flav.: Lovely herbal, grassy hops, some light-roasted malt; very smooth; leaves a lightly herbal/resinous hop finish; no noticeable alcohol and mild bitterness.
Well done guys! Even my narrow-minded crotchety Kraut father couldn’t fault this beer. Just the 473 mL can. Apparently “real” beer comes in even metric measures... hagisu (42), Ontario, Canada Aug 11, 2007 A decent pils, the hops are present, a fair bit if bitterness the flavour is good. Mildly carbonated, its enjoyable, just falls a liitle short. Damage (77), London, Ontario, Canada Aug 10, 2007 Very nice Pils from Creemore, first sampled at the London Beer Festival 2007. (500ml can) Tessic (439), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Aug 9, 2007 Poured a clear golden yellow with a nice white head. The smell reminded me of creamed corn and nothing but. First taste was the same but twice as harsh with the corn. This is horrible. I just found out that Molsons owns this brewery now...That, explains everything. gilvanblight (390), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2007 A special 20th anniversary release I hope they decide to keep making.
Clear filtered slighly coppery pour. Very thick bubbly head that lasts well. Nice sweet and bitter scent. Mix of hops and sweet malts. Very appealing. Mild carbonation. Very little lacing. Very hoppy taste, quit a bit of bitterness but too watery to be great. A slightly skunky aftertaste. A very good Pils, that I really enjoyed. I’m not usually a big fan of Pilsner’s so this is probably not the best one, but I like it alot. (heading back out to the LCBO to pick up some more before they are gone). Cartoonkhaki (1149), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Aug 7, 2007 473mL can, Golden colour with little to no head... now its all gone. No lacing and mild carbonation. Doesn’t have a strong floral hop aroma to it. Grassy and grainy. The hop flavour is strong and bitter with a bit of malt lingering in the background. The hops I find too over powering in this beer. Medium palate. I’m not too impressed with this. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 5, 2007 473 ml can. Average pilsner with a slightly skunky aftter taste. I enjoyed this more than the origional creemore. LordBeamish (144), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2007 473 ml can: After what Molson did to the previously wonderful Creemore Lager, it’s going to take a lot more than this offering to win me over. It tastes like they threw some extra malts in a Moosehead Alpine and put it in some special packaging. Certainly not offensive at all but not worthy of a 20th anniversary.
