Deep gold pour with a big, fluffy white head - very pretty pour. Nice toasty malt nose, grassy and floral. Biscuity flavors, fresh cut grass and a light floral tone. I liked this a lot - well done! probstk (1044), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Clear golden, nice foamy white head.
Aroma: Peppery, herbal, grassy hops, light grainy malts, light apple juice.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Smooth.
Flav.: Lovely herbal, grassy hops, some light-roasted malt; very smooth; leaves a lightly herbal/resinous hop finish; no noticeable alcohol and mild bitterness.
Well done guys! Even my narrow-minded crotchety Kraut father couldn’t fault this beer. Just the 473 mL can. Apparently “real” beer comes in even metric measures... JesseM (668), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Lets not go crazy and add the extra 27 milileters guys geez)("You know, because 474ml is just pushing it, and 472ml? Pfffff, haha, 72? Like get serious...that’s childs play"). Pours a nice golden colour, with a lot of head, not as pale as other pilsners. Looks moderately carbonated, and the aroma is mostly hops and alcohol (mild for both), as well as a little corn and that strange creemore "fire brewing" scent. The head settled very quickly which is true to the style. The taste is actually quite nice, plenty of pils malt, with a noticeable hop presence in the finish and aftertaste. I didn’t like this the first time I had it, but after re-visiting, I’ve found that it is actually a pretty enjoyable brew. I do plan on buying again. oakbluff (300), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Nose- bready malts and some hop spicyness. Taste- toasty bready malts, peperry saaz hops add a flowery finish. Finishes dry and herbal. Nice stuff actually. GregClow (2498), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2007 Can from the LCBO. Light, clear golden colour with a moderate sized snow white head. Aroma of honeyish malt and zesty herbal hops. Medium mouthfeel, with a slightly sticky finish. Flavour starts off sweet and somewhat delicate, and finishes with grassy, herbal hop notes that get quite bold as it warms up. Not quite up to the standard of Urquell or Budvar, but still comparable to many of the other ubiquitous European lagers that crowd the LCBO shelves. Lubiere (4537), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

In mouth....yummy. A good malt base, with definite biscuiity sweetness, a pleasant hoppiness, very crisp. Not quite like the pils at l’Amere which I like so much, but getting there. Can LCBO. rudolf (1782), Buffalo, New York, USA
