Good hoppy aroma, nice sweetness; so far so good. The flavour is quite sweet with malts, bready, with background hopping. It’s well balanced. I wouldn’t put it in King and Brickman territory for Ontario pils’, but it’s a decent treatment. hagisu (42), Ontario, Canada

I tried this beer on March 12, 2008 after purchasing from one of the local LCBO outlets. The poured a translucent gold colour with a generous head that quickly disippates. The aroma was very malty with some slight hoppish hints. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was very grainy, with very little bitterness. Tastes mainly malty, some hops, biscuits and toasted oats. Soft on the palate with moderate bitterness. Not emblematic of the style but good nevertheless. Takes a backseat to its lager counterpart. terrybail (339), London, Ontario, Canada
